Spectra situs is a confluence of ideas and embodied perspectives. It is a web platform for international dialogue between artists working through unconventional means in the U.S. and Asia. Spectra Situs’ direction is inspired by the multiplexity crystallized within intercultural contexts.

Spectra Situs is facilitated by Julia Santoli, a Vietnamese-American multi-media artist, musician, and composer born in Virginia and based in Brooklyn, New York. The idea for Spectra Situs was conceived after forming many experiences and friendships in Vietnam, Japan, and Indonesia during an Asian Cultural Council fellowship in 2019.
